Philippine Sector Mission Assembly

The Philippine Lasallian Family came together in La Salle Green Hills last 22 May 2026 in the spirit of synodality and hope for their Philippine Sector Mission Assembly (PH SMA). The gathering was attended by around 115 representatives-- Young Lasallians, Lasallian partners, Brothers, Formators, Teachers, School leaders, and external partners-- who represent the many and diverse ministries in the Sector. 

Science for the People: Empowering Teachers to Lead Sustainable Change

From 4-8 May 2026, science educators from various public schools convened for the third year of "Mentoring Future Leaders for Nation Building." This initiative is part of the ongoing partnership between De La Salle Philippines, De La Salle Dasmariñas – Basic Education Division, and the Security Bank Foundation Inc. This year’s program focused on empowering teachers to spearhead student-led, sustainable science projects tailored to their local communities.

Brothering: Fraternity Renewed

In the stillness of Holy Week, when the Church enters into the deepest mysteries of Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection, Brothers from the Lasallian East Asia District gathered in Tagaytay from 01-04 April 2026, for a retreat that invited not only remembrance, but transformation. Guided by Sr. Bubbles Bandojo, RC, the retreat unfolded as a deliberate journey into the heart of fraternity, framed not as a static identity, but as an ongoing, intentional practice: brothering.

December 1st marked a quiet yet meaningful moment of connection here in Hakodate. I accompanied four Junior High School students who eagerly accepted the invitation to join a simple activity with the students of the Hakodate School for the Deaf. The initiative was led by Ms. Natalie Correia, who participated in the PARC Justice and Peace Workshop in Malaysia last September 2025.

St. George’s Institution, Taiping – Triple Celebration

December 15, 2025: St. George’s Secondary School in Taiping held three major events today: the official opening of a vegetable and fruit garden workshop, the naming ceremony of the school field, and the closing ceremony of its 110th Anniversary celebrations. The events were witnessed by Brother Andrew Loke Yew Wah FSC, La Salle Brother Director for Malaysia, members of the Board of Governors, teachers and students.

DLSMHSI Celebrates 15 Topnotchers in the Occupational Therapist Licensure Exam

The Lasallian community at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute proudly celebrated a historic achievement of having 15 topnotchers from the school in the December 2025 Occupational Therapists Licensure Examination (OTLE). It has also ranked 3rd among the top-performing schools and accomplished a 95.24% passing rate for first-time takers and 89.55% overall performance.

Since August, the school also scored excellent results in the licensure exam for physicians, medical technologists, speech language pathologists, pharmacists, nurses and physical therapists.
