De La Salle Academy – Yangon was established in 2024 to provide accessible, values-based education to young people seeking a second chance at learning. Rooted in the Lasallian Mission, the Academy was created in response to the growing need for alternative pathways to secondary education in Myanmar. Curriculum development and teacher training are carried out in partnership with De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Philippines (DLSU-D). Through this partnership, university pathways have also been created for DLSA graduates who wish to pursue higher education at DLSU-D in the Philippines.

Vision: Our Vision is to be an established learning institution that nurtures young people by providing quality education regardless of socio-economic status, ethnicity, or religion.
Educational Philosophy
Our educational philosophy follows in the footsteps of St. John Baptist de La Salle, focusing on providing human and Christian education to young people, especially the poor, rooted in the core values of faith, service, and communion. Under the guidance of God — “Deo Duce” — we strive to educate life-long learners who are formed holistically through quality instruction, sound administration, and the use of modern educational technology.
