LEAD Community Directors Workshop II

Directors of the various Brothers' Communities across the District gathered at the Loyola Retreat House, Angono, Philippines, last 2-4 October 2025 for the LEAD Community Directors Workshop II.

Fr. Jordan Orbe, SJ of the Emmaus Center for Psycho-Spiritual Formation and Accompaniment facilitated the first day of the Workshop, focusing on non-violent communication and communicating with empathy.

Sr. Ley Salazar FDNSC, Program Coordinator and Finance Manager at the East Asian Pastoral Institute, led the Brother Directors through a spiritual conversation on managing finances and accounts. The focus of discussions and reflections came from their own experiences and questions, surfacing to best practices that are rooted on their own contexts and realities.

The Brother Directors wrapped up the three-day workshop with a fellowship lunch at Kabesera Café, overlooking the stunning Rizal and Metro Manila skyline. They then spent the afternoon at the renowned Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo, immersing themselves in the province’s rich creative spirit and taking a well-deserved pause for reflection and connection.

The Community Directors Workshop is among the initiatives of the District’s Life of the Brothers Committee that provide spaces for Brothers across different age-groups to nurture and share the gift of fraternity.
