In February I had the opportunity to visit the La Salle Bamboo School, Sangkhlaburi, Thailand. After a lengthy six plus hour ride from the Bangkok airport to the Bamboo School, I was warmly welcomed by the Brothers, the teachers and the students.

The Brothers in Sabah had the opportunity to meet Brother Armin, individually and as a communally during his canonical visit to Sabah on 25-26 February at De La Salle Butitin, Nabawan.

Last February 19, the members of our English Debate Club in La Salle Gakuen had an online interaction with the members of the Zobel Parliament Debate Society. They were able to exchange stories related to the practice of English debate and ask questions about each other’s culture.

On February 29, 2020, the Sector of Thailand held the Final Profession of Vows of Br. John Niran Suksankrasin FSC and the 25th Anniversary of Religious life of Br. Alphonso Danai Kingkan FSC at the St. John Baptist de La Salle Chapel, La Salle School Bangkok, Thailand.

Br. Armin Luistro FSC, the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD) Brother Visitor, had his canonical visit with the Lasallian Formation Center last February 21-22. During his visit, he met with the members of the community for a short conversation to further their accompaniment.

After a month of inevitable delay, Br. Visitor’s canonical visit eventually took place on March 3-4, 2020. Since he resides with us whenever he is not away from the country, it is not surprising that ours was the last community Br. Visitor scheduled for the Philippine Sector’s string of visits.

The 2nd LEAD Vocation Team meeting was held on February 24-26 at Inya View Hotel, Yangon. On the first day, Br. Antonio Cubillas FSC was present during the meeting to have some discussions and clarifications with the Team.
