On August 29, 2025, at SMK St. Joseph, Brothers Ivan and Mico were warmly welcomed by the Young Christian Students (YCS) for Discovering Our Lasallian Journey: Faith, Service, and Community. The session brought alive the story of St. John Baptist de La Salle, invited the students into the Lasallian Prayers with energy and action, and encouraged reflection on how these values continue to shape faith and service today. The atmosphere was lively, prayerful, and filled with genuine openness.
At the heart of the visit was a deeper purpose: to share the story of St. John Baptist de La Salle, to promote his enduring legacy in our partner schools, and to open the hearts of Catholic-Christian students to the vocation of the De La Salle Brothers. Encounters like this remind us that God continues to call young people in unique ways to serve the Church and the world.
We are grateful to the YCS of SMK St. Joseph for their openness and joy, and we look forward to meeting more young Lasallians in the journey ahead.
Imagine if your yes leads you to teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives. Be a Brother. A De La Salle Brother.
